Sand Leagues

Counting down the days until we peel off our winter coats and wool sweaters? Ready to kick off our shoes and wiggle our toes in some soft warm sand?  The sun is starting to rises earlier and setting later.  Yup… Minnesotans, summer is inching towards us!

While deciding your sand league sign up, be sure to take note of a few special considerations MVHQ has deliberately selected for you and your team.

Convenience of location

The sand pits are located not to far from Highway 55 and Interstate 494 intersection. It is close to the Plymouth Park and Ride and parks and trails.

Food and Beverage options

The Creekside Cafe and Lounge offers a full food and bar menu.  Click on the link to view hours and menus.

Ambiance

The sand courts are have a nice grassy area for viewers and overlook a reserve park with beautiful trees. MVHQ strives to keep our location a Family Friendly environment.

General Details of all Leagues

Location: Radisson Fitness Center Sand Pits – Plymouth, MN

All games are officiated by trained MVHQ officials

Min Teams: 6

Max Teams: 8 to 10

Games start at 6:30 pm

Adult Skill Level Ranking

Sol Volleyball takes skill level ranking serious. Teams who desire to play at a high rank must have more than just a few good players or loads of potential.  The team, as a whole, must be proven on the court with concrete evidence and consistency of playing at a high level. So when self ranking and signing up for Sol Competitions, make sure NOT to sign up for a level you wish you played or what your team use to play a long time ago. Sol strongly encourages teams to sign up for competition that is equal in skill level to their team right at this very time. Competition rankings are closely monitored.
